*Mission and Service Opportunities

Mission Team

Our congregation supports local mission projects such as the Gardner-Edgerton Coordinating Council, Edgerton Food Pantry, and Cross-Lines ministry of Kansas City.  We also partner with Edgerton Elementary,
as adopting families from the school for Christmas and our Christmas Eve offering goes to the school emergency fund.  During the summer we collect school supplies for the school.  We also provide volunteers when needed for school activities.

If you are interested in the Mission Team, please contact the church office.

Grace Cafe

For over ten years, EUMC has been serving Grace Cafe -- a free dinner we host every Wednesday from 5-6:30 p.m.
We are in need of volunteers to help with washing dishes, serving, and cleaning.  If you feel called to help with this important ministry, please email the church office or speak with Brenda, Bob, or Cheri at Grace Cafe.

Edgerton Food Pantry
The Edgerton Community Food Pantry is located at Grace Place (in the white house on the north side of the church).
The Food Pantry is for all residents living within School District 231.
Hours:  Third Saturday, 10 a.m.- noon
EUMC supports the Food Pantry by donating food and by providing volunteers.

Food donated to the food pantry can be placed in the shopping cart in Fellowship Hall.  If you are interested in volunteering at the Edgerton Food Pantry, please contact the church office.

My Neighbor's Closet

As of April 2016, the children's clothing closet has closed. We are planning an event in July to assist with back-to-school needs. If you need assistance with clothing, please obtain a clothing voucher to be used at the Joy Closet in Gardner. These vouchers are available from our church office, the Edgerton Elementary School, or City Hall.
