Adult Mission Trip
We are scheduled to go to Red Bird Mission in Beverly, Kentucky, the week of September 18-24, 2016. Red Bird Mission is part of the Red Bird Missionary Conference of The United Methodist Church and serves a rural distressed area in the Appalachian Mountains. They provide ministries in the areas of Education, Health and Wellness, Community Outreach, Economic Opportunity, and Community Housing Improvement.
Our work could be on houses in the community, facility and grounds maintenance for the mission, or helping out in ministries.
This work trip is open to anyone who would like to go. You must be able to walk from the cabins to the main ministry area.
Anyone interested in going should contact Sandy Stone.
For over ten years, EUMC has been serving Grace Cafe -- a free dinner we host
every Wednesday from 5-6:30 p.m.
We are in need of volunteers to help with washing dishes, serving, and cleaning. If you feel called to help with this important ministry, please email the church office or speak with Dona Williams or Phyllis Harris at Grace Cafe.
