Safe & Sacred Space TrainingThe Kansas East Conference is committed to providing safe and sacred spaces for children, youth and developmentally disabled adults. The conference offers Safe and Sacred Space training and certification to individuals who work with children, youth and/or developmentally disabled adults. This certification is required for adults who sponsor youth at conference and district events and for paid and unpaid persons who work with children, youth and/or developmentally disabled adults at the local church. But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. Ephesians 5: 3-4 Safe and Sacred Space is a biblically-based curriculum designed to help participants see observing appropriate boundaries as part of how they live out their Christian faith.
