ALL of US are Ministers! In His great commission, Jesus told us: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the  name
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to
obey everything that I have commanded you."At EUMC we take this commission seriously and understand that all believers are called to be ministers; equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit to be unique and valuable members of the Body of Christ. We have embraced the concepts of "Gift-Based Ministry" as described in the book "Equipped for Every Good Work" by Dan R. & Barbara Miller Dick.
As a result of our "discovery" process, we have identified the primary spiritual gifts of many of our congregation and have formed teams wherein each of us may minister with our God-given talents. Equipped for Every Good
Work is a four tool process — Spiritual Gifts Inventory,
Leadership/Interaction Styles, Spirituality Web, and Task Type Preferences —
to help individuals and groups discover and understand the gifts, attitudes,
beliefs, and behaviors that influence their ability to live as Christian
disciples and to lead within a community of faith.
