What & When:
Sunday School meets at 9:30 AM and
a liturgical worship service is celebrated on Sunday mornings from 10:45 to 11:45.

Children are Special:
Each worship service includes a special "Time for Young Disciples" where a mini-sermon is shared with our children. We pray that these special moments will foster a feeling of "belonging" for the kids and encourage their participation in worship. Following the mini-sermon, children are provided with a separate "Children's Church" if they desire to attend. While they are very welcome in our Sanctuary at any time during worship; a nursery is also provided for the very young if you wish to use it. For additional info regarding our young folks, see the Children & Teens page.

Communion:
The Lord's Supper is celebrated on the 1st Sunday of every month.   Anyone who loves or wishes to love Jesus Christ is welcome to receive Communion at EUMC.

Music:
We are musically blessed with a wonderful Adult Choir, the children's God Squad choir as well as our Hand Bell Choir. For more information on our music program, please jump to the Music & Choirs Page.

Nursing Home Worship:
On a rotating basis, all church denominations within the Gardner and
Edgerton  Kansas communities go to local nursing facilities to provide worship services. Edgerton UMC participates in this community service and leads worship at the Medical Lodge and Meadowbrook nursing homes as well as Vintage Park assisted-living facility in Gardner.
